Tasks & Calendar

Tasks and the calendar work together — both show you what needs doing and when.

Tasks

Tasks — global task list across the firm, with filters for assignee, status, due date and matter.

Task scope

  • Matter tasks — created inside a specific matter (under its Tasks tab)
  • Global tasks — not tied to a specific matter

Both appear in the global Tasks view.

Task fields

  • Title and description
  • Due date
  • Assignees (one or more)
  • Status: PENDING, IN_PROGRESS, COMPLETED, CANCELLED
  • Comments — discussion thread on the task

Bulk actions

From the task list you can update status or reassign multiple tasks at once.

Comments

Every task has a comment thread. Use it to discuss the work without cluttering the matter's main activity log.

Calendar

Calendar — a full calendar view showing:

  • Important dates from matters (hearings, deadlines)
  • Tasks with due dates
  • Reminders
  • Meetings
  • Public holidays (from HR)

Click any event to see details. You can create new calendar events directly from the calendar.

Reminders

Reminders are separate from tasks — they're time-based pings. Created manually or automatically by the system (e.g. for approaching statute dates). Dismiss them when handled.

Notifications

Notifications shows everything that's happened involving you: tasks assigned, invoices approved or rejected, leave approved, mentions. Mark individual items as read, or mark all read in one click.
